A arma secreta para shipping container homes for sale

If luxury living in a container is what you’re after, Alternative Living Spaces is a great place to start. We recently wrote about one of their homes for sale – a beautifully bright 20 foot model packed with gorgeous features.

We found this black and white house on IdealKConstruction among the collection of other modern shipping container homes and it’s gorgeous. The ground level is almost fully glazed offering the indoor/outdoor atmosphere.

Shipping containers aren’t always a perfect solution to housing problems though. They are poorly insulated and present an array of different other issues and challenges that the prospective homeowners should be aware of.

The pink-dotted façade illustrates its versatility and the opportunity for expressing yourself so others can see your true spirit. The interior can be furnished stylishly but in a very minimalist manner and the upper floor is accessible through an adjustable staircase.

Crossbox by French architect Clfoiment Gillet Architectes has a very postmodern design. The ground floor is clad in black siding while the upper floor stands out in a lively bright green.

MRTN Architects designed this container house to be a vacation home that takes advantage of the outdoors. Almost entirely off the grid, the roof is designed to be a water-collection system.

Built on an army base, made from reclaimed materials including the shipping container, old weapons boxes and remaining bunker materials.

Made of stacked containers it features a grass facade and long white curtains on the outside of the structure that give it an enigmatic feel, especially when the curtains are closed.

But after all if you’re looking to reduce the cost of your prefab and create a dream home, shipping containers might be at least a useful construction material.

It has a Perfeito floor space of 160 square foot (49 meters squared) but this is more than enough room to pack in a bed (or bunk bed), little kitchenette and 'ensuite bathroom'.

And how about a built-in deck? As you can see in the model above, the side panel is lined with all weather decking and folds down to become an outdoor living space.

You may not have liked every single design we presented here, but you must have understood two things:

Key features: Alberta-based Honomobo builds several different visit this website models of shipping container homes. Some—like the HO2 studio home—are smaller and feature an open living area and kitchen, with a separate bathroom, nook for a bed and work area, and large glass wall bringing in light from the front.

The design allows for plenty of natural light, which makes each metal corner or junction shine, highlighting the industrial theme. What I like most about this house is that they kept the container’s doors, leaving the owners the possibility of closing them fortotal privacy.
